What can you find inside the Treasure Museum?

The museum itinerary is made up of 9 rooms, some of which display truly unique pieces, including the tabernacle of the Eucharistic sacrament by Donatello, the funerary monument to Sixtus IV by Antonio del Pollaiolo, the sarcophagus of Giunio Basso, a true masterpiece of early Christian art dating back to the 4th century, the cross and candelabra in gilded silver by A. Gentili (1582), the Cross of Emperor Justin II (6th century), a historiated dalmatic from the Early Middle Ages and a gilded metal rooster (9th century) which adorned the bell tower of the first Constantinian Basilica.
