I received an email with the cancellation of the reservation. What should I do?
- Within 24 hours of the date of use of the reservation, the customer may be informed by email of any cancellations due to events or commitments communicated by the Governorate of the Vatican City. Tickets will be refunded 100%; date changes are not permitted.
Can I request a refund for a reservation for St. Peter's Basilica, the Dome, the Museum or the Necropolis?
- The ticket and reservations for St. Peter's Basilica and its areas (Dome, Museum, Necropolis, etc.) are non-refundable, it is not possible to change the name, it is not possible to change the date or time of the reservation. The reservation is valid only for the time slot booked. Make sure you arrive by the time indicated on the reservation to ensure access to the service.
Does the ticket have an expiration date?
- Yes, your ticket is only valid for the date and time you selected when purchasing.
What happens if I cannot visit on the date you booked?
- Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the date or request a refund. We recommend that you make sure you can visit on the date you have chosen before completing your purchase.
What happens if I arrive late? Can I request a refund?
- If you arrive late for your booked time, entry may not be guaranteed. A refund or date change is not possible.

No, tickets are only valid for the date and time you specified when purchasing.
