Please note that before accessing the Dome, it is mandatory to pass through security checks in Saint Peter's Square. On average, the wait time for security checks is approximately one and a half hours. To access the Dome, you must have a ticket, which can be purchased on-site after completing the security checks at the ticket counters located before the Dome entrance. If the visitor has purchased the Dome access ticket online, they can proceed directly to the entry path for the Dome.
