For Wednesday, April 25, Holy Masses in the Basilica, at the Altar of the Chair, are scheduled at: 7.00 - 8.00 - 9.00 - 10.00 - 11.00 - 12.00 - 13.00 - 16.00 - 17.00 - 18.00

The ecclesial community and the faithful are invited to join in prayer to accompany the Holy Father Francis in his final passage through the Vatican Basilica, the heart of Christianity.

The Basilica will be open to the faithful who wish to pay their respects to the Holy Father's body at the following times:

Wednesday, April 23: from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Thursday, April 24: from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Friday, April 25: from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's Square.

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the rite of the translatio of the coffin of the late Roman Pontiff Francis will take place from the Chapel of the Domus Sanctæ Marthæ to the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter, according to what is established by the Ordo Exsequiarum Romani Pontificis (nn. 41–65).

At the conclusion of the rite, the Basilica will be open to the faithful who wish to pay their respects to the Holy Father's body at the following times:

Wednesday, April 23: from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Thursday, April 24: from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Friday, April 25: from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
