Tour operators and organizers with their own radio guides are welcome to use them. Alternatively, radio guides must be rented for a fee (€1.5 each) at the ticket counters of Saint Peter’s Basilica. Guides are required to present their ID badge upon entry.
The radio guides are provided by the group organizer.
Please note that during the visit to the Basilica, in the time slot 07:00-09:00, it is forbidden to give explanations in the Vatican Grottoes as they could disturb the liturgical celebrations, even if radio guides are used.
