The cycle of meetings promoted by the Fabbrica di San Pietro continues on the occasion of the 4th Centenary of the Dedication of St. Peter’s Basilica (1626–2026). On Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at 7:00 PM, at the Altar of the Chair, the second event will take place, dedicated to the theological-liturgical dimension.

The meeting aims to explore the liturgical and theological meanings of the Basilica and its Dedication, offering a reflection on the development of ecclesial and spiritual life over the centuries.


Speakers:

  • Corrado Maggioni, The basilical liturgy from the Dedication to the present day;
  • Marco Guzzi, The vision of the Church from the 17th century to today;
  • Valentino Miserachs, The evolution of music and chant in St. Peter’s Basilica.

The event will be enriched by musical interludes performed by the Cappella Musicale Giulia.
