Restoration of the Stucco Decorations in the Transept of Saint Joseph

As part of the scheduled restoration works on the decorative stucco elements of the vaults in the south and north transepts of the Basilica, the Fabric of Saint Peter has installed a protective net at the springing of the main vault in the Transept of Saint Joseph.

This necessary measure will allow preliminary diagnostic investigations to be carried out.
