Today at 7pm in the Basilica the second meeting of the new cycle 'Lectio Petri - Peter in the Acts of the Apostles', organised by the Courtyard of the Gentiles Foundation and the Fratelli tutti Foundation to explore the figure of St Peter in the Acts of the Apostles, his life and ministry. The title of this evening's meeting is 'God does not prefer people', and the reflection will revolve around the crisis within the Church and society.
Guests of the evening will be Emma Fattorini, Professor of Contemporary History at La Sapienza University, and singer-songwriter Roberto Vecchioni. They will be entrusted with the conclusions after the introduction by H.Em. Card. Mauro Gambetti, Archpriest of St. Peter's Papal Basilica and President of the Fratelli tutti Foundation, and the lectio by H.Em. Card. Gianfranco Ravasi, Founder of the 'Courtyard of the Gentiles'.
