Saturday, July 25, Spiritual Elevation in St. Peter's Basilica

On Saturday, July 25, at 4:00 PM, a Spiritual Upliftment will be held in St. Peter's Basilica, performed by the Cappella Musicale Giulia at the Altar of the Chair.

The program will offer a journey through significant works of sacred choral music, with compositions by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Domenico Bartolucci, Anton Bruckner, Edward Elgar, and Antonio Renzi.

The Elevation will open with Palestrina's Sicut Cervus. It will be followed by Palestrina's Kyrie, Elgar's Ave verum, Bruckner's Locus iste, and Bartolucci's Ave Maria dolcissima.

The event will offer faithful and visitors a moment of listening, reflection, and meditation in the heart of the Vatican Basilica, through the voice of the Cappella Musicale Giulia and the heritage of liturgical music.
