“Spiritual Elevation” in St. Peter’s Basilica

An event of intense beauty and spiritual reflection, where art and faith meet in the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica.

The “Spiritual Elevation” offers a musical experience of approximately thirty minutes, designed to uplift the soul through liturgical tradition and sacred art.

The voices of the Cappella Giulia, one of the oldest liturgical choirs in the Vatican, will perform works by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina – the undisputed master of Renaissance polyphony – and composer Domenico Bartolucci.

The performance is conducted by Maestro Fabio Avolio, deputy director of the Cappella Giulia.

Participation is free and open to all: pilgrims, faithful, and visitors are invited to experience this moment of listening and spirituality.
