Applications are now open for the 5th edition of the School of Arts and Crafts of the Fabbrica di San Pietro in Vaticano.
Established by the Fabbrica di San Pietro, in collaboration with the Fratelli tutti Foundation, the School offers a free, full-time training programme dedicated to traditional crafts, aimed at young women and men aged between 18 and 25 from all over the world.
Students will have the opportunity to learn ancient crafts such as stone carving and marble work, masonry, stucco work and decoration, carpentry, blacksmithing and mosaic art, working closely with the “sampietrini” master craftsmen. The programme combines practical training, cultural enrichment and personal growth within a unique community experience, linked to the human, artistic and spiritual heritage of St Peter’s Basilica.
Participation in the School is completely free of charge. Applications for the 5th edition will be open from 1 June to 14 August 2026.
