VATICAN CITY, Sept. 7 - Under the technical direction of the Fabbrica di San Pietro, a statue of St. Andrew Kim Taegon, presbyter and martyr (1821-1846), has been placed in the first niche of the lower order of the north-east elevation of the Vatican Basilica, on Largo di San Gregorio l'Iluminatore. The work, made of Carrara marble by the Korean sculptor Han Jin Sub, will be blessed on 16 September.
